Who are we?
Hippo Carts is a UK family run manufacturer specialising in film carts, TV production carts, and professional lighting carts, designed and built in Britain for the demands of working crews.
Founded by Alexander, an experienced design engineer, Hippo Carts was created to fill a clear gap in the UK market: production teams needed high-quality, heavy duty equipment carts without the inflated prices of large international brands. Today, we design and manufacture durable, practical, and affordable production carts in the UK, trusted by professionals across film, television, and commercial shoots.
